The individual is the main component of every aspect and domain of the society. For any political system to have a powerful and cohesive country ,first it needs to direct efforts towards the development of the individuals since they are the backbone of the society. When the individuals are strong and are on good terms with the government this will spontaneously lead to a powerful country which can't be defeated or overthrewn easily.Whenever the relationship between the political system ,individual and society is based on justice , equality and harmony then that regime is going in the right direction towards an unbeatable country internally and externally while regimes which stapm on people , spread corruption and degrade the public are creating a weak country and a fragile society which can easily be toppled by a foreign attack or an internal conspiracy since all they are worried about is staying in power and the preservation of power neglecting the public need to feel safe and secure in a powerful country.
As Mechiavelly says when the prince is a friend of the public and they love him back sincerly ,it will be very hard to dethron him even with military force.
This mutual love between the two sides springs from justice which is done equally. There is absolutely no doubt that the relations between government and people will be full of haterd and rancour when injustice is prevailing in country which subsequantly makes people indifferent to their country even when it is in danger since they have nothing to lose under the rule of such failing regime.
In case there is no bond of respect and love between government and its people then it stands to reason that such bond will eventually lead to the downfall of the government very easily. It is no wonder that some governments in the region disintegrate soon after facing some insignificant crises and problems .The overthrow of some regimes was not due to Arab Spring revolutions because the downfall was inevitable even without the outbreak of revolutions since such regimes were not powerful enough and were already susceptible to division and downfall. As a matter of fact the revolutions exposed the weakness of such governments but they are not the origin of this weakness .Some people may think that the events are drawing to an end while in fact they are just the beginning which may lead towards the disintegration of some other governments in the region because they are on shaky ground in the first place. The new governments which come to power after the ravages of the previous ones should avoid repeating the same mistakes which were made by old regimes and make every effort to develope individuals along with a strong society plus establishing good relations with them.
Fund for peace oragnization has announced its tenth annual Fragile States Index where Arabic and Islamic countries were ranked top in the list. The countries have been rated based on criteria like law application in the community, relationship between individuals and governments ,and respect for human rights in addition to the rule of law in the country.Such countries will continue to rank top in the list untill the rule of law is put into practice equally and human rights are protected by law as well as the existence of equality in country at that point Middle East countries can catch up with the developed countries and be the owners of successful governments.
