Advantages and disadvantages of globalization
To argue about globalization we should first know what is the meaning of this phenomenon and what is it's purposes. Globalization is the process of extending social relations across world-space, such extensions arise from the movements of people, things and ideas. Many people agree with the dissemination of knowledge and information because this improve our life and encourage the development of the industry. However, globalization has also many disadvantages. In this essay l will analyze both advantages and disadvantages of globalization and l will present my opinion.
Globalization has a plenty of positives. First of all learning from other's knowledge and experiences thereby we could avoid making some mistakes. Secondly, globalization promote constructing social relations and understanding other's opinion and tradition. Thirdly, it enhance exchanging goods and services and this is a crucial advantage.
As l said, globalization has negatives. The most dangerous disadvantage is the widespread of bad habits and action. For example, smoking cigarettes leads to cancer and cardiovascular diseases and globalization encourage smoking and drinking alcohol as well as buying and selling illicit drugs such as cocaine. Furthermore, the means of information and communication like the internet ,television and computer affect children's mind and behavior due to bad programmes and videos that ruin people's morals.
Finally, l think that everything has advantages and disadvantages. However, we can choose whatever we want and this depends on our thoughts and behavior. From my point of view, l will choose the good aspects of globalization. .
