New Therapy for Enlarged Prostate
Benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH is a common non-malignant enlargement of the prostatic gland which normally surrounds the neck of the urinary bladder and urethra in men.
Dr. Simon Allen has developed new devices which can cure the symptoms associated with BPH naturally and without any side effects. Now, Dr. Allen devices are considered a breakthrough therapy in terminating prostate enlargement gradually.
BPH usually affects men above the age of 50 years. Androgens or male sex hormones are thought to play a major role in the development of BPH. The condition is more common in patients with an affected family member.
I have seen many patients with BPH in my university, they usually complain of frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, excessive urination at night, straining to urination, poor urine stream, difficulty in beginning the urine flow, incomplete emptying of the urinary bladder and leakage of small volume of urine immediately after completing urination. Unfortunately, various medications and surgical procedures used for treatment of BPH can bring lots of serious problems in the future.
5-alpha reductase inhibitors, such as Finasteride and alpha-blockers, such as Terazosin are usually prescribed to relieve the symptoms associated with BPH. Finasteride can lead to serious side effects, such as hypersensitivity reactions, decreased sexual drive, decrease in ejaculate volume, development of prostate cancer, ejaculatory dysfunctions, male infertility, breast enlargement in men (gynecomastia), low blood pressure (hypotension) and depression.
Common side effects associated with the use of Terazosin include, headache, dizziness, nasal congestion, pain, nausea, nervousness, hypotension, peripheral swelling, shortness of breath (dyspnea) and numbness or tingling in the hands or feet (paresthesia).
In more severe cases of BPH, transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), transurethral vaporization (TUV) or surgical removal of the prostate (prostatectomy) may be considered. These modalities are invasive and entail risk of bleeding, infection, erectile dysfunctions, incontinence (leakage of urine) and urinary tract infections (UTIs).
The Thermobalancing Therapy is a safe natural modality made by Dr. Simon Allen which can be used for the treatment of BPH at home and without any adverse effects. Patients who are used or are using Dr. Allen device tell that it is very easy to wear it. It is a unique feature that the device can work constantly for 24 hours a day. The device provides a perfect environment for blood to circulate through tiny capillaries in the affected prostate tissues thus reducing the pressure, congestions and swelling associated with BPH.
Now, The Thermobalancing Therapy is considered as safe alternative to serious BPH drugs and surgical options. Firstly, this modality has no serious adverse effects. Secondly, it works continuously on the prostatic gland. Thirdly, it doesn’t affect the sexual life of the patient. Therefore, I think that this natural option for the treatment of enlarged prostate should be taken seriously and I am confident while recommend it to my patients.
